Muay Thai

We offer Muay Thai classes for all levels.
As one of the leading Muay Thai gyms in the UK we pride ourselves on our comprehensive Muay Thai program, consisting every aspects of the art (the art of 8 limbs) were we tailor our program based on progression. 

In Intro/Foundation classes you will learn striking, defence, footwork, pad work, bag work, basic combinations and partner drills. General and advanced classes are build on these fundamentals by introducing ring craft, fight strategies and more advanced combinations.

All classes involve the appropriate warm up and conditioning, tailored to the level of the class. 

Kickboxing

We offer Kickboxing classes for all levels.
Our comprehensive kickboxing program based around K1 style. In Intro/Foundation classes you will learn striking, defence, footwork, pad work, bag work, basic combinations and partner drills. General and advanced classes are build on these fundamentals by introducing ring craft, fight strategies and more advanced combinations. Sparring is for general and above and is done under close supervision.

All classes involve the appropriate warm up and conditioning work tailored to the level of the class. 

Boxing

We offer boxing classes for all levels.
Our Intro/Foundation class covers the fundamentals of footwork, striking, defence, fitness and discipline. The general and intermediate classes build on the basics and offer ring strategies and advanced techniques. 

Classes consist of a dynamic warm up, partner drills or pad and bag work depending on the day and end with specific strength and conditioning work to build up the mental and physical stamina of the individual. Cool down stretching and a brief recap of the session is down at the very end. Sparring is for general level and above and is closely supervised by our expert coaches.

Kids (5-11)

Our Kids Thai/kickboxing classes are great introduction into Martial Arts.

We teach not only the physical aspect of the sport but also the mental aspect, instilling discipline and structure from a young age. The classes are sociable, rewarding and great for improving motor skills (hand-eye co-ordination).

There is no head contact. The syllabus evolves around fitness, striking, defence, flexibility and most importantly fun. Classes consist of pad work, partner drills and fitness. We pride ourselves on the safety, discipline and positive environment that our kids classes create.

Youth (12-18)

 Youth classes are available in boxing, Muay Thai/kickboxing and wrestling. We teach the physical and the mental aspect of these martial arts; all our instructors are passionate about improving the technical skill but also the well-being of our students.

Classes are on a syllabus evolved around the fundamentals of the art, whether it be striking or grappling, defence and fitness. They are a sociable environment where young people can learn discipline, make friends and build confidence at the same time as learning a martial art.

Clinch

 Clinch class classes are highly recommended and are suitable for all levels. 

Clinching is an essential part of Muay Thai. In the fighting art of Thailand, it’s permissible for opponents to clinch in a standing position with the aim of striking each other with knees and elbows. You will be taught everything you need to become a confident and able clincher, including: 
Correct posture, balance and footwork in the clinch. Dynamic movement in the clinch position, and how to off-balance your opponent. How to effectively throw knee and elbow strikes from the clinch position. How to sweep and tumble your opponent to the canvas from the clinch.

Please note it’s encouraged to have elbow pads for this class purely for safety reasons.

Bjj (Gi)

Our Brazilian Ju-Jujitsu classes offer an introduction into the intricacies and techniques of the comprehensive grappling sport.

During our classes you will learn the basics of how to move on the ground, chokes, locks and how to control your opponent. BJJ classes are for everyone, whether you wish to learn self-defence, study the martial art itself or integrate it into your MMA training. 

Classes consist of a warm up, technical drills, patterns of movement and will finish with conditioning and a cool down. A GI can be borrowed from the gym if you have none but it is recommended you purchase your own if you wish to commit to the sport.

Wrestling

Alibeg Vechedov from Dagestan is our head coach for wrestling, he brings with him a wealth of experience spanning over 40 years competing and coaching.

The classes are ideal for students to learn wrestling from basic level to advanced (competition). Also for MMA practitioners to practice transitions techniques (stand-up to ground) and groundwork (ne waza). Classes consist of a dynamic warm up, mobility, partner drills consisting of throws, holds, tilts, takedowns and it is ended with cool down and stretch.

K.O’s rich history of producing world champion fighters and an experienced coaching team, this is the perfect environment to grow as a fighter.

Female Only

Ladies’ classes are available to women of any experience and skill level. Run by Ruqsana Begum, Muay Thai world champion and professional boxer she set up the class to ‘cater towards empowering women from all walks of life and give them a positive experience. They are designed to build confidence, improve physical and mental wellbeing and allow the learning of martial arts skills in a safe environment.

Classes focus around Muay Thai/kickboxing training including partner drills, pad work, conditioning and stretching. They are carefully structured to allow easy progression in Muay Thai/kickboxing and learn skills both for fitness and self-defense.

Thai Sword

Discover the secrets of these ancient, beautiful and almost forgotten arts from Thailand: Krabi Krabong (Thai Sword) is a weapon based system that makes use, among other weapons, of single or double sword, staff, mai sok; while Muay Chaiya is an ancient style of Thai boxing and the ancestor of modern Muay Thai sport.

 With us you will be able to train with wooden sticks following the traditional style (Krabi Krabong) as well as with padded swords and protections for the modern sport style (Dap Thai).

Please note: These classes are not included in the monthly membership.

Early Bird

Regardless of experience, Early bird morning sessions are suitable all levels.

We cover everything - fitness and conditioning, body mechanics and technical work. There is also focus on core strength, aerobic and anaerobic improvement, strength and explosiveness, flexibility and agility.

You will gain experience with bag-work pad-work (holding and hitting), technique, defence, play and all foundation elements (stance, posture, footwork, shadow work and mental attitude).

Morning exercise benefits include: reduced stress, better hormone levels, energy, mood, weight loss, sleep and lower blood pressure.

S&C

Strength and Conditioning classes are suitable for all levels.

Combining cutting edge research and tried and tested old-school methods our strength and conditioning classes are rigorous and rewarding.

Focusing on muscular endurance, speed, explosiveness and injury reduction they are a vital part of martial arts progression. You will get stronger, faster and more durable, developing both the physiological and mental aspects of yourself.

Exercises can be scaled to the individual; the only that matters to us is you put in the best effort you can to your ability!

HiiT

HiiT classes are highly recommended and are suitable for all levels. 

We work in a circuit-based format around sport-specific conditioning exercises and bodyweight movement – if you want to push yourself to the limit and achieve the ultimate cardiovascular and muscular endurance this is the class for you. We highly recommend it to beginners who are looking to increase their fitness to progress to the next level.


Exercises can be scaled to the individual; the only that matters to us is you put in the best effort you can to your ability!

Recovery / Mobility

 

Yoga

Classes are designed to increase the flexibility, strength and core stability of the individual. In Eastern traditions, Yin is a compliment to Yang – the ‘yin’ signifying the inner stillness of mind and body. Our classes are designed to reflect this and they are a perfect antidote to the ‘yang’ of constant heavy training.

With a meditative aspect classes are based around long static holds, centring oneself and removing the ‘mind chatter’ of our daily lives.

Sport Massage

Recovery is as important as training, it is highly recommended to have regular sport massage as a part of your recovery program.
